What’s better, adjustable dumbbells or single dumbbells?
What’s the difference other than the adjustable dumbbells are cheaper, are the single dumbbells easier to lift?
Which one should I get and why?
(Single dumbbells are the ones that can’t be adjusted, like the hex ones)

If you have the space for them single dumbbells are better. You can do a set of one exercise with one weight, set them down and do a different exercise with a different weight and use several different weights at a time. With an adjustable you have to do all the sets at one weight, adjust them, then do all the sets of a different exercise and a different weight.
You can do that but having a couple of set of dumbbells makes for a more efficient workout.
If you got lots of space and money, go single ones. all different weights. Adjustable ones, they always move about and clink and GOD ITS SO ANNOYING! Maybe you can getta good quiet pair of adjustable dumbbells. But I find myself tightening up my adjustable dumbbells after like. 5 sets of 10-20 reps. so yeah. Grrrr.
If you want cheaper and lasting longer, go for adjustable, Just be aware of the clinking of metal weights smacking against the bar when you move them because the screw bit tends to come loose. But they’re good.
Adjustable are good if your looking to build muscle, because you can slowly increase weight. But Single ones are better for KEEPING your muscles at the size they are. maybe a little bigger but they’ll stay a similar size yes?
Good luck to ya matey! =]
